How flatmate profiles and Team Up work
Is messaging free?
Yes. Flatmates can message for free after a Connect request is accepted; room invitations keep their listing context.
Are flatmate cards public by default?
No. A card becomes publicly viewable, including to signed-out visitors, only after its owner approves it and chooses Directory visibility.
What details are shown?
Only details the card owner approved, such as first name, broad age band, preferred areas, budget and broad move-in timing.
Are private lifestyle answers shown?
No. When both people opt in, confirmed preferences can privately filter and order suggestions. Raw answers and internal scores stay hidden; unknowns remain discussion prompts.
